Dr. Elizabeth Standafer has had a diverse career path in education working at the elementary level up through post-secondary. She has been a classroom teacher, school counselor, career development coordinator, and district level administrator for both Career and Technical Education and Secondary Education. In 2015, Dr. Standafer left public K-12 education to become a Certified Career Pathway Facilitator for the North Carolina Department of Commerce. She currently serves as the Youth Apprenticeship Coordinator for ApprenticeshipNC with the North Carolina Community College System where she works state-wide to promote and implement youth apprenticeship programs.
