CreativEd Services

After graduating from nursing school in 1976 and then spending a year at the Medical University of South Carolina as a Registered Nurse, I earned my commission in the United States Air Force and moved to Colorado Springs. After leaving the Air Force and moving to Taylorsville, North Carolina, I practiced nursing until 1981 when I became a Health Occupations teacher at Alexander Central High School. Nine years later I accepted a position as a State Consultant with the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction and moved to Raleigh. In 2002 I became an entrepreneur, working under contract as the Assistant Director of National HOSA and with other clients. In 2005 we moved to Orlando, Florida, where I continue to operate my business, providing instructional design services, writing books, and developing workshops and training. I have a Diploma in Nursing, a BA in Psychology from Lenoir-Rhyne College, and a MEd in Curriculum and Instruction from NC State University.
