Leslie Dick

HSE teacher, Onslow County Schools

Leslie Dick began her journey as a healthcare professional in 1994 after earning her Associates degree in Nursing from Fayetteville Technical Community College. She later earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from North Carolina State University prior to completing her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from UNC Charlotte. Mrs. Dick has over 14 years of experience in various healthcare settings including: labor and delivery, emergency medicine, and serving as a school nurse for Onslow County Schools. Mrs. Dick embraces leadership opportunities as Swansboro High School’s CTE Department Chair and being an active member of the Competitive Events Committee for NC HOSA. She has seen the value of the CTSO/Classroom connection first-hand in her current role as Health Science instructor and HOSA Advisor for Swansboro High School as her local chapter has grown from 9 members to over 70 members since she began in 2008.
