Linda Pitman, RN BSN is a teacher and HOSA Advisor at Mitchell High School in Bakersville, NC where she is well versed as an instructor for our health science pathway courses. Students under Mrs. Pitman’s instruction have the opportunity to expand their learning by taking the Fundamentals of Gerontology course along with exploring opportunities in Advance Studies. Mrs. Pittman’s dedication to her school and health science program was recognized as she was named Mitchell County’s 2015/2016 Teacher of the Year.
